Last of Your Handmade Christmas Cards

This card has come from Toni, I love the technique. Shapes are punched and are strategically placed in the Square Lattice embossing folder at the same time as the backing piece.
I also like that Toni has rounded diagonally opposite corners rather than all four. A beautiful card Toni. Thank you :)
This card was the last to arrive, but it is certainly not the least! Di is a fellow demonstrator and has the most amazing clean style. This shot shows the detail up close.
The picture below shows you the full card. I like the banner formation for mounting the greeting.
Thank you Di, it is beautiful as always.
See more of Di's cards on her blog here
The next card was sent by Kellie. This is so sweet with the use of punches DSP and Washi tape. I love Kellie's style....always something clever and eye catching.
I haven't quite figured out how the part circle was cut in the main base card, but I will.
Thanks Kellie, it is just gorgeous!
Kellie has a blog which you can see by clicking here
Ok...I found how Kellie did the circle cut and low & behold she has used a Stampin Up product I have not yet tried. Here is a video tutorial on the Thinlits card dies... they're awesome!!!
Tomorrow I will endeavour to show you how my family handle their Christmas cards to me. See you then :)

More of Your Handmade Christmas Cards

I love the up close detail of this card. Sent to me by Kelli from across the river. It was one of the first I received and what a delight it was to open.
And below is a shot of the over all card. Thanks Kelli  ;o)
This is a close up of a card sent to me by Jenny. I love the use of Silver and blues together. Of course a bit of bling is always good too!

And the whole card is below. Jenny has used the festive flurry stamp set and co-ordeinated it with the matching sizzlets. I like the clever use of the negative which many of us would have thrown away. As you see here everything is useful. Very pretty Jenny, thank you.
Another Silver card...sooooo pretty. This one is embossed in silver foil with the Lacy Brocade embosing folder
The full card has not photographed looks fantastic in real life! Thanks Steph
This is a cute and simple card design. I often think the cleaner designs are the most spectacular. I love the bling as always. Both the Rhinestones and the thread are sparkly.
This was sent to me from Gerroa - thanks Donna

I will post a few more Christmas cards again tomorrow...see you then :)

Another Gift & Card

I love making triple bows on cards and gifts. The reindeer image is from Winter Post (now retired)

Handmade Christmas Cards

Here is a run down of some of the cards sent to me for Christmas...I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed receiving them
This one has come from Tasmania - Di has made her envelope using DSP

A sticky label is placed on the front for ease of addressing

This one came to me from Robyn in Loftus. Robin has used Contempo Christmas and Wallpaper embossing folder.

The next one is from my friend Kerrie...she has used embossing folders and embosslits to produce this result.

This card comes from my lovely friend Lenore - she too has used embossing folders and embosslits

This card was sent to me by Gwen...she has an amazing way of using punches to make all sorts of clever cards

Tomorrow I will post a few more cards to keep the Christmas Spirit going a little longer.

Merry & Type

This gift card is made using the Merry & Type Stamp set (retired). I gave a box of chocolates to some of my work colleagues. I couldn't help but wrap it with ribbon and make a card to match.

The card front has been embossed with diagonal stripes using the Big shot. Paper remnants are used as banner accents.
The main image has been roughed up using the paper distressing tool. This adds depth and contrast  to the textures used here.

Day 22

This card features Season Of Style DSP paper stack, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and Very Vanilla Cardstock.

The background is achieved using Polka dot emabossing folder and the image is from Greetings Eight Stamp set (discontinued).
The image has been punched using the decorative lable punch.

Day 21

I love the colours in this card...Wisteria Wonder, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black and Whisper White.

I love the jumbo metallic glitter brads with the Winter Frost DSP as they give a frosty shimmer deserving of Christmas. The Chalkboard technique was used with "O Holy Night" Stamp set and Whisper White craft ink for the main image.
